Microneedling in Cobham, Surrey

Advanced skin renewal, tailored to your skin.

Professional microneedling designed to support your skin's natural renewal processes and improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, pigmentation, scarring and loss of firmness.

Every treatment begins with a thorough consultation, so i can understand your skin, your concerns and what you'd genuinely like to improve.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling works by creating tiny, controlled micro-channels in the skin. This stimulates the skin’s natural repair response, supporting the production of collagen and elastin and encouraging healthy skin renewal.

Over time, this can help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, pigmentation, scarring and loss of firmness — while supporting smoother, stronger, healthier-looking skin.

The aim isn’t to change your face. It’s to help your skin function and look its best.

What can microneedling help with?

Fine lines & wrinkles
Support collagen production and soften the appearance of fine lines.

Uneven texture
Help smooth rough or uneven skin texture and improve overall skin quality.

Pigmentation & uneven tone
Support a clearer, more even-looking complexion.

Acne scarring
Improve the appearance of post-acne textural scarring over a course of treatments.

Loss of firmness
Support collagen and elastin production for firmer, more resilient-looking skin.

Dull, tired-looking skin
Encourage healthy skin renewal for fresher, brighter-looking skin.

What happens during your microneedling treatment?

Every treatment starts with your skin.

Before we begin, I’ll assess your skin and talk through your concerns, goals and anything that may affect your treatment. This allows me to tailor the treatment specifically to you.

Your skin is then thoroughly cleansed and prepared before I use the Imedipen to create controlled micro-channels at a depth appropriate for your skin and the area being treated.

Once the microneedling is complete, the skin is calmed and supported according to the treatment you've chosen.

Full Face + Neck treatments are finished with a soothing bio-cellulose mask, while Focused Single Area treatments are finished with a calming cream.

You’ll leave with clear aftercare advice, including what to use — and what to avoid — while your skin recovers.

Your treatment is never one-size-fits-all. The depth, focus and treatment plan are chosen around your skin.

What will my skin look like afterwards?

Your skin may look pink or red immediately after treatment and can feel warm, tight or slightly sensitive — a little like mild sun exposure. This is a normal response and usually begins to settle within the first 24–48 hours.

Over the following few days, the skin may feel slightly dry or tight as it moves through its natural renewal process. I’ll give you clear aftercare guidance to help keep your skin comfortable and supported.

Results develop gradually. While skin can begin to look fresher as it settles, meaningful improvements in texture, firmness, pigmentation and overall skin quality develop over time as the skin responds to treatment.

Why I usually recommend a course

For most skin concerns, I recommend a course of microneedling rather than a single treatment. Microneedling isn't simply about passing a device over the skin — results depend on using the right technique, depth and treatment protocol for your skin, and allowing time for the skin's natural renewal processes to respond.

A single treatment can be a lovely option if you're looking for a fresh, healthy-looking boost ahead of an event. But if we're working towards meaningful, longer-term improvement in concerns such as fine lines, texture, pigmentation, scarring or loss of firmness, consistency is key.

Your treatment plan will be recommended following consultation and adapted according to your skin, your goals and how your skin responds.

Your Microneedling Course

For most clients looking for meaningful, longer-term improvement, I recommend a course of 4–8 treatments, depending on your skin, your concerns and how your skin responds to treatment.

If your goal is to support collagen and elastin for smoother, firmer, more youthful-looking skin, I would typically begin with 4 treatments spaced around 4–6 weeks apart. The spacing is important — more isn't necessarily better. We need to work with your skin's natural repair and renewal processes and give it time to respond between treatments.

Once the initial course is complete, I often recommend a microneedling treatment approximately every three months for maintenance.

Many of my regular clients alternate microneedling with my Signature Sculpt + Release Facial — typically four of each across the year. This gives us a lovely balance between advanced skin renewal and the hands-on sculpting, lymphatic and tension-releasing work of my signature facial.

For more complex concerns, including melasma, rosacea and acne-related concerns, the treatment plan may be longer and will always depend on the condition of your skin, its suitability for treatment and how it responds along the way.

Your results don't depend on microneedling alone. Following the right aftercare and homecare advice is an important part of supporting your skin and getting the most from your treatment course.

Is Microneedling Right for Me?

Microneedling can be suitable for many skin types and concerns, but not every skin is ready for microneedling at every stage.

This is particularly important when we're working with concerns such as acne, rosacea, pigmentation or melasma. The type of concern, the current condition of your skin, any active inflammation, your skincare routine and certain medications or treatments can all influence whether microneedling is appropriate — and how I approach it.

That's why every treatment starts with a thorough consultation and skin assessment. If I don't believe microneedling is the right treatment for your skin at that time, I won't perform it. I'll explain why and, where appropriate, recommend a different approach or suggest we work on preparing your skin first.

Good microneedling isn't about treating everyone in the same way. It's about knowing when to treat, how to treat — and when not to.

Microneedling FAQs

Does microneedling hurt?

Most clients find microneedling very manageable. You may feel some areas more than others, and the sensation can vary depending on the depth being used and the area being treated. I’ll tailor the treatment to your skin and check your comfort throughout.

Can I wear makeup after microneedling?

I recommend avoiding makeup for 72 hours after your treatment. Your skin is in recovery mode during this time, so keeping it clean and following your aftercare advice helps minimise irritation and supports the healing process.

Is microneedling safe?

When carried out by a properly trained professional using appropriate techniques and strict hygiene protocols, microneedling is considered a safe treatment for suitable skin. I am fully trained, qualified and insured, use sterile single-use cartridges, and assess your skin before every treatment to make sure microneedling is appropriate for you.

When will I see results?

You may notice your skin looking fresher once the initial redness has settled, but microneedling is not an overnight treatment. Improvements develop gradually as your skin goes through its natural repair and renewal processes. For meaningful, longer-term results, I usually recommend a course of treatments followed by maintenance appropriate to your skin.
